Catch the Fall Instrumental Concert
Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Play Pool.
The Northborough Senior Center offers pool at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
2. Catch a concert.
The fall instrumental concert is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Algonquin Regional High School.
3. In case you missed it: Northborough becomes a Purple Heart Community.
Selectmen voted unanimously Monday night to proclaim Northborough a Purple Heart Community.
4. Support the Northborough Free Library.
The Friends of the Northborough Library's Annual Children's Book and Media Sale runs from Wednesday through Saturday.
5. Root for the Tomahawks.

- Varsity boys soccer: vs. Westborough, in the 2013 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Soccer Central Division 1 semi-finals, 5 p.m., at Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton
- Varsity girls soccer: vs. Nashoba, in the 2013 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls Soccer Central Division 1 semi-finals, 7 p.m., at Nashoba
