1. Learn about self-publishing.

They recently collected 411 pairs of socks, and 44 pajama sets, for Cradles to Crayons.
3. Catch a concert.
The Tom Yates Group performs from 8:30 to 11 p.m. Thursday at The Texas BBQ Co., 309 Main St.
4. Root for the Tomahawks.
Here is Thursday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:
- Freshman girls basketball: vs. Nashoba, 4 p.m.
- Freshman boys basketball: at Nashoba, 4 p.m.
- Varsity swimming: vs. Nashoba, at Clark University pool, 4 p.m.
- JV girls basketball: vs. Nashoba, 5:30 p.m.
- JV boys basketball: at Nashoba, 5:30 p.m.
- Varsity girls basketball: vs. Nashoba, 7 p.m.
- Varsity boys basketball: at Nashoba, 7 p.m.
