Friends of Northborough Library Book Sale Underway

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Support the Northborough Free Library.

The Friends of the Northborough Library's Annual Children's Book and Media Sale runs from Wednesday through Saturday.

2. Buy a book.

The Proctor Elementary School's Scholastic Book Fair is from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

3. Northborough elementary students have a half day of school Thursday.

It's for parent-teacher conferences.

4. Make a quilt.

A free quilting program with instructor Connie Davis will be offered at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Northborough Senior Center.

5. In case you missed it: Northborough selectmen discussed the zoning board of appeals Monday night.

The discussion, prompted by a question from Selectman Aaron Hutchins, was related to the special town meeting.
