It's Wednesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Attend the regional school committee meeting.
The board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Algonquin Regional High School library. The agenda includes a presentation by the health and physical education department.
2. Attend the Northborough Historical Commission meeting.
The board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Northborough Town Hall Offices. The agenda includes a discussion of the sign repair at Mary Goodnow Site.
3. Make a Pilgrim turkey craft.
The Northborough Public Library offers this activity at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
4. Support the Melican Middle School.
The Melican Middle School PTO meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
5. In case you missed it: The average Northborough single-family homeowner's tax bill will increase about $44.
The owner of a single-family home valued at $375,222 would pay $6,225 in taxes, based on a tax rate of $16.59, Town Administrator John Coderre said during the board of selectmen's annual tax classification hearing Monday night. The current rate is $16.11.
