Hit-and-Run Driver Strikes Hydrant Thursday

Here are the highlights of the Northborough Police log for Thursday, courtesy of the Northborough Police Department:
At 9:12 a.m., police received a report from Crawford Street of a hit-and-run accident involving a fire hydrant. Police notified the water department.
At 9:23 a.m., police assisted the fire department with an activated alarm on Gale Street.
At 9:31 a.m., police received a report from Bartlett Street of a rollover accident with no injuries. McFee and Newton was called for a tow.
At 12:29 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a structure fire on Rice Avenue.
At 12:41 p.m., police received a report from Maple Street of a vehicle off the road. McFee and Newton was called.
At 2:07 p.m., a Morse Circle resident came to the police station to report lost property.
At 3:10 p.m., police received a report from Church Street of a two-car motor vehicle accident with injuries. McFee and Newton was called for two tows.
At 4:38 p.m., police received a report from Brewer Street of a motor vehicle accident.
At 4:50 p.m., police received a report from Otis Street of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Police learned the driver had Walmart's permission to stay there for now. Police referred them to a number of shelters.
At 6:06 p.m., a Pond View Way resident reported a house break that occurred between Dec. 19 and Jan. 2.
