Northborough To Hold Annual 9/11 Ceremony

The event will take place at the Northborough Fire Dept.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A 9/11 ceremony will be held at the fire department, located at 11 Pierce St., at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11.

The department holds the ceremony every year at the flag pole in front of the station, according to Lorraine Cain, administration assistant.

Fire Department Chaplain Richard Martino will be conducting the ceremony.

Martino served in the United States Navy from 1971 until he retired in 1998 as a Captain. He has been chaplain with the Northborough Fire Department for more than 20 years.
