Northborough's Annual Town Meeting Postponed To July 18

This time the Annual Town Meeting wasn't postponed because of the coronavirus.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — This time it was the rain that caused another postponement of Northborough's Annual Town Meeting. The meeting, which had been postponed to July 18 out of concern for the coronavirus, was postponed to July 18 due to inclement weather over the weekend.

While a bit of rain usually isn't an issue for the Town Meeting, this year's meeting has to take place outside on the Algonquin Regional High School Football Field. The outdoor meeting is necessary to maintain six feet of social distance and limit the potential spread of the coronavirus.

The rescheduled meeting will still take place on the football field at 9 a.m. on July 18.
