Root For the Tomahawks
Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Root for the Tomahawks.
Three of the Algonquin Regional High School fall sports teams open their seasons on Tuesday.Â
Here is the schedule:
- Golf: vs. Shrewsbury, at Juniper Hills, 3 p.m.
- Boys cross-country: at Nashoba, at Bower Springs Conservation Land, 3:30 p.m.
- Girls cross-country: at Nashoba, 3:30 p.m.
The planning board will discuss it at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the library meeting room.
3. How did the opening of school go?
The principals will discuss that with the school committee, which meets at 7 p.m. in the Melican Middle School library.
4. Try tai chi.
The Northborough Senior Center offers tai chi at 11 a.m.
5. Learn pool.
The Northborough Senior Center offers pool for beginners at 6 p.m.
