Municipal Buildings Mask Mandate Ends 2/28Beginning next Monday, February 28th, the municipal buildings mask mandate will end.  This decision was made with the most recent State Advisory Regarding Face Coverings in mind, as well as the School Department’s decision to lift the mask requirement at the Regional High School beginning February 28th.

Town-Wide Mask Mandate Ended 2/9At their meeting on February 8th, the Board of Health voted unanimously to rescind the town-wide mask mandate for indoor public places (COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Regulation) effective February 9th at 12:01am.   Private businesses may also have their own requirements for face coverings. 

The Board of Health continues to recommend staying up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations and following other prevention strategies including wearing face coverings indoors, especially if you are in crowded areas or you or a household member is at high risk of severe COVID-19 disease.  For more information on masking, please refer to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Statewide Mask Advisory found at https://www.mass.gov/maskup
