When is winter break? What other holidays do the students and teachers have? Here's a look at the winter season calendar.
NORTHBOROUGH, MA—The kids and teachers are psyched. Parents, maybe not so much. But there are a number of calendar dates to note where school is out and the kids run free from classes.
Here are some notable dates on the Northborough public schools calendar this winter:
- Nov. 22 - Half day
- Nov. 23-24 - Thanksgiving break
- Nov. 27 - No school for students, professional development day
- Dec. 22 - Half day for students
- Dec. 25-29 - Holiday vacation
- Jan. 1 - No school, New Year's Day
- Jan. 15 - No school, Martin Luther King
- Jan. 16 - No school for students, Professional development
- Feb. 19 - No school, Presidents' Day
- Feb. 20-23 - Winter vacation
