5 Things: Baby Wiggles at the Library, Parks Meeting
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on May 7 in the North End.

1. Warming up: Today will be partly sunny, gradually becoming sunny, with a light wind, according to the National Weather Service. High: 73, Low: 52.
2. Baby Wiggles: Drop by the North End Library (25 Parmenter St.) today at 10:30 a.m. for Baby Wiggles—a fun, interactive music program for babies, toddlers and their caregivers.
3. Parks meeting: The North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association Parks and Open Space Committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Nazzaro Center (30 N. Bennet St.).

4. Photography contest: As part of the West End Museum’s new show, “Life in the West End 1947-1953; The Photography of Jules Aarons,” local photographers are invited to submit their favorite photos of the West End neighborhood of today. The best photos will be made into a poster to highlighting all that is great about the West End. Submissions will be accepted from May 1 through Aug. 1. 5. Screenwriting workshop: Ever wanted to learn more about screenwriting for movies? The Boston Neighborhood Network is offering two workshops on the subject, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, May 7-23, from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturdays, June 1-29, from 12:30-3 p.m. Cost is $100 for BNN-TV members and $150 for non-members.
