5 Things: Forbidden Film, RUFF Cleanup
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on May 22 in the North End.

1. Possible T-storms: Today will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. There is a slight chance for more showers and thunderstorms in the evening. High: 86, Low: 64.
2. Forbidden film: Drop by the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.) today at 6 p.m. to watch the 1932 film “Man Wanted,” part of the library’s Forbidden Hollywood film series.
3. RUFF cleanup: The Responsible Urbanites for Fido (RUFF), a dog friendly group in the North End, will meet today at 7 p.m. at The Prado (416 Hanover St.) for their monthly cleanup. Spend a half an hour with them cleaning up the neighborhood.

4. Job search help: Neighbors helping Neighbors USA meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Boston Public Library’s Central Branch (700 Boylston St.). The free, peer-led group helps individuals in their job search. Membership is open to anyone in career transition including unemployed or underemployed individuals and recent college graduates in the fields of business, nonprofit, and education, as well as individuals re-entering the job market, struggling small business owners and anyone looking for part-time or volunteer work.
5. Pahty time: The Charlestown YMCA (150 Third Ave.) will hold its second annual Pahty in the Yahd to support the Y's Annual Fund tonight beginning at 6 p.m., featuring appetizers, a cash bar and a silent auction.
