5 Things: Marathon Vigil at Old North Church
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on April 25 in the North End.

1. Warming up: The morning will be mostly cloudy, gradually clearing, with a high near 65 degrees and a low around 41, according to the National Weather Service.
2. Memorial service: The Old North Church (193 Salem St.) will host a memorial service and vigil for the victims of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings tonight at 7 p.m. The event is being coordinated by North End Against Drugs, the North End Music and Performing Arts Center and local churches. All are welcome.
3. Visit the ICA: Admission to the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston is free to all ages every Thursday from 5-9 p.m.

4. Aquarium lecture: The New England Aquarium (1 Central Wharf) will host a free lecture and book signing today at 7 p.m. Dr. Rafe Sagarin of the Institute of the Environment at University of Arizona will discuss his book, “Learning from the Octopus: Nature’s Secrets for Thriving in an Uncertain World.” This event is open to the public and is part of the Aquarium’s free lecture series. Events will be held in the Aquarium's Harborside Learning Lab.
5. Free parking: To help Boylston Street businesses, Boston Mayor Tom Menino is offering free meter parking in all of the Back Bay this week through Sunday, April 28.
