5 Things: Midnight Ride Program, Forbidden Film

2. Forbidden film: Drop by the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.) today at 6 p.m. for a free screening of the 1932 film “Lawyer Man,” part of the Forbidden Hollywood Series.

3. Parks meeting: The Friends of the North End Parks will meet today at 6:30 p.m. at the Mariner’s House (11 North Square).

4. Midnight Ride program: The Paul Revere House (19 North Square) is hosting a Midnight Ride Storytelling Program today at 2 p.m. and Friday at 10:30 a.m. Participants will dress up and carry props as they retrace Paul Revere’s famous route. Reservations are required; call 617-523-2338. Cost is $4.50 for each adult and child age 5 and up.

5. Fenway open house cancelled: The Fenway Park annual open house that was scheduled for today has been postponed in light of recent events. No make-up date has yet been posted. Some museums and sites around Boston were closed Tuesday in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing.
