5 Things: Parcel 9 Meeting, Job Search Help
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on March 20 in the North End.

1. Mostly sunny: The first day of spring will be mostly sunny with a chance of flurries before 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. It will also be windy with gusts as high as 34 miles per hour. High: 42, Low: 25.
2. Parcel 9 proposals: The Parcel 7 and Parcel 9 RFP Advisory Committee will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at the Mariner's House (second floor) to consider the final two proposals for Parcel 9, a vacant lot located between John Fitzgerald Surface Road and Blackstone Street.
3. Movie night: Drop by the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.) today at 5:30 p.m. for a free screening of the 1984 movie "Field of Dreams" (Rated PG, 134 minutes).

4. Job search help: Neighbors helping Neighbors USA meets every Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Boston Public Library’s Central Branch (700 Boylston St.). The free, peer-led group helps individuals in their job search. Membership is open to anyone in career transition including unemployed or underemployed individuals and recent college graduates in the fields of business, nonprofit, and education, as well as individuals re-entering the job market, struggling small business owners and anyone looking for part-time or volunteer work.
5. Stump trivia: Drop by Joe's American Bar and Grill (100 Atlantic Ave.) tonight at 7 p.m. for Stump Trivia, where teams of 2-6 players answer trivia questions throughout the night for a chance to win some great prizes. This free event is held every Wednesday.
