2. Tall Tales at the library: Drop by the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.) today at 10:30 a.m. for Big Ryan’s Tall Tales, featuring music, movement, puppets, original stories and more. This show is free and geared toward children ages 3-9.

3. North End dog group fundraiser: RUFF, Responsible Urbanites for Fido, will hold a fundraiser on Saturday from 4-6 p.m. at the Improv Asylum (216 Hanover St.). 4. Afternoon with the Champ: Former undisputed Welterweight Champion Tony DeMarco will be at Caffé Vittoria (290 Hanover St) on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. to promote his autobiography, “Nardo: Memoirs of a Boxing Champion.”
