"We learned late Friday that there is a salmonella outbreak in Massachusetts," Ayr Muir, founder and CEO of Clover Food Lab, wrote in a blog post. "Some of the confirmed cases ate at Clover over the course of the days leading up to their illness."

Muir said the state doesn’t know yet where the salmonella came from and are currently investigating, but because some of the people who ended up sick did consume food from a Clover food truck, the company is suspending operations and is "scouring every surface of every operation," Muir said.
