Daily 5: Kids' Crafts and Movies at the North End Branch Library
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on Monday, July 15 in the North End.

1. Hot: Monday, July 15 will be mostly sunny with a high near 90 and a low around 74, according to the National Weather Service.
2. Children’s films: On Mondays at 11 a.m., come and watch children films at the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.). Call the library at 617-227-8135 to verify that this event has not been rescheduled or canceled.
3. Kids’ crafts: Also on Monday, July 15, children ages 4 and up, accompanied by an adult, can drop by the library for a craft at 4 p.m.

4. BU study: Researchers at Boston University are conducting a study about family responses to the Boston Marathon attack and the effects of the attack on children. 5. Photography contest: As part of the West End Museum’s new show, “Life in the West End 1947-1953; The Photography of Jules Aarons,” local photographers are invited to submit their favorite photos of the West End neighborhood of today. The best photos will be made into a poster highlighting all that is great about the West End. Submissions will be accepted from May 1 through Aug. 1.
