Daily 5: Ward 3 Dems Hosting Boston Candidates' Night

2. Candidates Night: Boston’s Ward 3 Democratic Committee is hosting a candidates’ night and endorsement meeting on Wednesday, July 10 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Nazzaro Community Center (30 N. Bennett St.), according to a posting on NorthEndWaterfront.com. All candidates running for the District 1, District 2 and at-large Boston City Council seats have been invited to speak. All Ward 3 residents are welcome to attend.

3. North End Movie Night: The North End Recovery Outreach Committee teen program and Regina Pizzeria are bringing back North End Movie Nights every Wednesday in July at DeFilippo Park on Prince Street, according to a report on NorthEndWaterfront.com. Enjoy free Regina pizza and beverages; bring your own chairs or blankets. 4. Ridley Scott film series: On Wednesdays in July, watch the films of director Ridley Scott during a free film series offered at the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.). The July 10 film will be “A Good Year” (2006), starring Russell Crowe, Albert Finney and Marion Cotillard.
