Death Investigation Under Way in Atlantic Ave. Shooting

The Boston Police Department are investigating a death on the Greenway, according to BPDNews.com.

According to the report, police responded to a call for shots fired near Broad Street and Surface Road at around 2:22 a.m. on Sunday, July 29. When the police arrived at the intersection of Atlantic Ave. and High Street, officers found a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Tufts Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

This investigation is on going and the BPD is asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit and the detectives assigned to this case at 617-343-4470.
