Dentist Treats Disability, Speeding in North End

Here's what took place in the neighborhood this week.

It was a busy week in the North End.

Our breaking news was that Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray will not run for governor in 2014. He said the demands of campaigning, serving in elected office and the desire to spend more time with his family are the main reasons.

We met Dr. Leslie P. Racowsky, whose dental practice is located at 11 Commercial Wharf, and showed him putting together a good chewing mechanism for a patient.

On January 13, there was an assault and battery on Hanover Street and the drug unit performed a search warrant of a family-operated drug business on Charter Street.

Captain Thomas Lee explained that Cross and Commercial streets are where people speed the most in this neighborhood.
