Do You Like the Proposed Towers at TD Garden?

The collection of towers would loom over the North End.

The plans are in for the proposed towers on the old Boston Garden site. The plans call for a whopping 1.87 million square feet of floor space featured a mix of business, retail and residential uses. At least one of the towers would top out at 600 feet, according to The Boston Globe.

The expanded proposal runs over 300 pages and involves all sorts of details about the project, including changes to intersections, building sizes and heights, where the building shadows will fall and much more.

What do you think of the plan? Is this level of development appropriate next to the historically important North End? Or should the city push Garden owner Delaware North to build something more to scale with the area? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
