Here are some events and facts you should know for Monday, September 17.

- Sports: For European football fans, Everton will play against Newcastle United. The fixture starts at 3 pm Boston time. You can see it at Café Paradiso on Hanover Street while sipping a cup of specially blended coffee and sampling a (purchased) cannoli.
- Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a mostly sunny and dry day with a high of 72 degrees and slightly warmer temperatures in the afternoon.
- Movies for Little Ones: The North End Library on Parmenter Street will be showing movies for children from 11 a.m. to noon.
- Italian Delicacies: Take a tour of the many bakeries in the neighborhood to see which pastry strikes your fancy. The choices are endless but start with Bova’s or Boschetto on Salem Street or Mike’s Pastry on Hanover Street.
- This Day in History: On Sept. 17, 1787, members of the Constitutional Convention signed the final draft of the Constitution.
