Meeting Today on Boston Urban Agriculture Rules
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on June 3 in the North End.
1. Rain: Today will be cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. High: 74, Low: 58.
2. Children’s films: On Mondays, come and watch children films at the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.). Call the library at 617-227-8135 to verify that this event has not been rescheduled or canceled.
3. Urban agriculture forum: Learn more about Boston’s proposed new urban agriculture regulations at a public meeting scheduled today from 6-8 p.m. at Suffolk University Law School, (120 Tremont St.) in the first-floor function room. All attendees must bring some form of photo ID (driver’s license, credit card, etc.) to clear building security. 4. Re-subscribe to T-Alerts: This week, the MBTA will begin using a new service to send T-Alerts, so all current subscribers are being asked to re-subscribe to continue receiving these messages. Visit http://bit.ly/10yX5zj to subscribe or learn more. You must re-subscribe by Tuesday, June 4.
5. BNN-TV workshop: Learn basic field production and video editing at a 12-session workshop offered through BNN-TV. The workshop begins today and will be held Mondays and Wednesdays through July 10 from 6-9 p.m. The workshop is open to BNN members only and costs $150. Register and learn more at bnntv.org.
