Michlewitz on the Budget

In our continuing efforts to facilitate a discussion on Governor Deval Patrick’s budget proposal, the North End’s state representative, Aaron Michlewitz, has submitted the following comment.

“As we begin this year’s budget process I am keeping an open mind on the numerous proposals that have been put on the table.

“Over the coming weeks and months, the Legislature will be working to craft its own budget and tax plan to make the necessary investments in our transportation infrastructure, as well as improving our education system, and continuing the Commonwealth’s vital commitments to other priorities, such as job training and affordable housing.

“I look forward to a vigorous debate with my colleagues and hearing from my constituents on what they think is the best proposals moving forward.”
