MONDAY

- Children’s films: On Mondays, come and watch children films at the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.). Call the library at 617-227-8135 to verify that this event has not been rescheduled or canceled.
TUESDAY
- Parks meeting: The North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association Parks and Open Space Committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Nazzaro Center (30 N. Bennet St.).

- Biographies on film: On Wednesdays in August, drop by the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.) for a film series featuring biographical movies. On Aug. 7, watch “The Best Things in Life Are Free” (1956), about popular composers of the Jazz Age. Films start at 5:30 p.m.
- North End Movie Night: The North End Recovery Outreach Committee teen program and Regina Pizzeria are bringing back North End Movie Nights every Wednesday through August at DeFilippo Park on Prince Street. Enjoy free Regina pizza and beverages; bring your own chairs or blankets. Movies begin at 7 p.m. For more information, email virgil70s@aol.com.
THURSDAY
- Rock Talk: Make a sand painting, play the Rock Take-Away Game and do the Fossil Hokey Pokey with science educator Meg Balaconis on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 11-11:45 a.m. at the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.).
- NEWRA meeting: The North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Nazzaro Center (30 North Bennet St.). All residents of the North End/Waterfront neighborhood are welcome to attend. Learn more at newra.org.
- Concert on the Prado: The North End Music and Performing Arts Center is offering a free summer concert series on the Prado (Paul Revere Mall off Hanover Street). On Aug. 8, Berklee College of Music’s modern jazz ensemble Chroma will perform. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. Learn more at nempacboston.org.

- Madonna Della Cava Feast: The 93rd annual Madonna Della Cava Feast will begin Friday, Aug. 9 and continue through Sunday, Aug. 11. For details, visit madonnadellacava.com.
