NEMPAC Children's Troupe Presents 'Alice in Wonderland'
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on June 14 in the North End.

1. Showers: Rain is likely before noon, with scattered showers in the evening, mainly before 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. High: 68, Low: 54. Weekend forecast: Saturday will be sunny and clear with a high around 79 and a low around 58. Sunday will be mostly sunny with a chance of showers late in the evening; the high will be around 81 and the low around 62.
2. Alice in Wonderland: The North End Music and Performing Arts Center Children’s Musical Theater Troupe will present “Alice in Wonderland” tonight at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 15 at noon at the Improv Asylum (216 Hanover St.). Tickets cost $10 each and are available at nempacboston.org.
3. Father’s Day craft: Bring the kids by the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.) today at 3 p.m. to make a free Father’s Day craft. This program is open to children ages 2 and up accompanied by a caregiver. Also today, the library will offer a preschool story time at 10:30 a.m.

4. Greenway market: The Greenway Open Market is offered on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along the Wharf District Parks on the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Shop a variety of handmade and locally produced fine art, jewelry crafts, ceramics, apparel and accessories as well as handmade imports that are fair trade or eco-friendly. 5. Bunker Hill Day Parade: The 2013 Battle of Bunker Hill Day Parade will step off at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 16 at Hayes Square. The parade will head down Bunker Hill Street then down Main, Union, Washington, Harvard, Pleasant and Warren streets, Monument Avenue, High, Green and Bartlett streets and Monument Square.
