North End/Waterfront Residents Meeting Tonight

1. Chance of rain: Today will be partly sunny with a chance of rain, mainly after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Rain is likely in the evening, mainly after 3 a.m. High: 67, Low: 52.

2. NEWRA meeting: The North End/Waterfront Residents Association meets on the second Thursday of the month at the Nazzaro Center (30 N. Bennet St.). All North End and waterfront residents are welcome to attend.

3. Women’s networking event: The Wonder Women of Boston will hold a networking event tonight from 6-8 p.m. at The Living Room (101 Atlantic Ave.). The cost is $3 for members, $6 for non-members. Register online at wonderwomenboston.com. 

4. Summer in the City: The Boston Harbor Hotel (70 Rowes Wharf) is once again offering its Summer in the City Entertainment Series, beginning Thursday, June 13 and running through Friday, Aug. 30. With each night sporting a different theme from Summer Soul Tuesdays and Blues Barge Thursdays to Movies by Moonlight Fridays and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy. 5. Rose Garden Party: The annual Rose Garden Party, a fundraiser for the Boston Parks Department, will be held tonight from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Kelleher Rose Garden (73 Park Drive). The event will feature food and refreshments, musical entertainment, a silent auction, live art demonstration and hat contest. Tickets cost $125 each and are available online or by calling 617-635-4032. Tickets are tax deductible.
