PHOTOS: The Madonna Della Cava Feast

The feast for the Madonna Della Cava was delayed on Friday evening, given the tornado warnings and heavy rain, but the ceremony kicked off once the weather cleared up. The Northeast Italiano Band played infront of the shrine on the corner of Battery Street and Hanover Street. 

On Sunday, The Image of the Madonna was paraded through the streets of the North End, accompanied by two maching bands, the Northeast Italiano Band and St. Alfino's marching band. People cheered and shouted "Viva la Madonna," while other people pinned ribbons of money to the Image.
