Police: Dorchester Man Charged with Breaking into Car on Hanover Street

Officers charged a Dorchester man with stealing from a car in the North End.

Boston Police Officers responded to a report of a theft near the area of 415 Hanover Street at about 9:30 p.m. on July 28. Officers were involved in a foot pursuit and detained the suspect, who reportedly broke into a car and took various items.

The suspect was carrying a computer bag, which the victim identified as theirs. The bag also had credit cards and other forms of identification belonging to the victim.

Officers arrested Ralph Glawson of 130 Hamilton Road, Dorchester, and charged him with larceny over $200 from a motor vehicle.
