Police: Man Claimed Three People Beat Him Up Near North Bennett Street

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department.

A man told police that he had been attacked by three total strangers in the North End. 

Boston Police responded to a call for police assistance at about 1:07 p.m. on Monday, June 10 at the intersection of North Bennett Street and North Bennett Court in the North End.

On arrival, officers found the victim bleeding on the right side of his forehead. Police also saw blood on his face, neck and clothing. During an interview, the victim told police that three unknown people assaulted him. The victim couldn’t tell police the race, age or gender of the attackers.

Witnesses told police that they had seen the victim fall over several times on Hanover Street. Police determined that the victim was unsteady on his feet and appeared to be intoxicated.

EMS arrived and took the victim to Mass. General Hospital. Officers canvassed the area for suspicious parties to no avail.
