There were a lot of events in the North End and surrounding area this week.
We had some particular favorites.
On January 26 at 10:00 a.m., Red Sox Kid Nation Winterfest was held at 4 Yawkey Way in Boston.

On the same day, at 3:00 p.m., The Wine Bottega, located at 341 Hanover Street, hosted North End City Wine Tours.
The event is for people to learn about grapes, Italian food pairings, and history of the North End while sampling various wines such as Pinot Grigio, Sangiovese, Prosecco and Pinot Bianco.

The North End Tour stops include Aragosta at Fairmont Battery Wharf, Davide Restaurant and The Wine Bottega.
Farmers who “break their backs for the benefit of their vines and use a gentle hand to guide the ancient art of fermentation” inspire the tour.
