Scott Brown, North End Businesses
Here's what took place in the neighborhood this week.
It was a busy week in the North End.
Scott Brown ended speculation Friday afternoon as to whether he would run for U.S. Senate, announcing that he is not entering the race for the seat left vacant by John Kerry’s confirmation to the post of Secretary of State.

In its own quiet way, this part of the North End has several shops such as Alba Produce and Polcari’s Coffee that borders with Salem Street. The library is located there as well.
When you reach 32A Parmenter, there’s a sign for Sulmona Meat Market. And when you walk in the door, that’s precisely what you’ll find.

Hanover Street is also a popular destination and now has a relatively new business.
It hasn’t even been a year that Ralph Verrocchi and Daniel Delia established a restaurant.
It’s filled with customers some of whom are friends of the owners or just looking for good food and coffee.
The first cousins, who grew up together on Prince Street, opened ‘My Cousin’s Place' on March 21, 2012.
