βNancy Pelosi will not lead us back into the majority,β he said.
Eager to cultivate division, real or perceived, in the Democratic ranks, The National Republican Congressional Committee issued gleeful missives to the media. Meanwhile, Capuano issued anΒ almost retraction to CNN.
βAny leader who refuses to change in the face of failure should step aside,β he told the source. βI believe, however, that Nancy Pelosi is making the changes necessary to lead House Democrats back to electoral success and I still believe she will do so.β
