Andover Resident Arrested on Charges of OUI

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.
Arrests
At 10:51 a.m. Friday, a caller reported an intoxicated operator on Main Street. As a result of the call, Paul S. Vayanos, 51, of 57 Goulds Road, Andover was arrested on charges of operating under the influence.

Friday, April 12
- At 1:41 p.m., a caller reported a three-car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 6:18 p.m., a Navillus Road resident requested police assistance to remove four females from her home. The females were asked to leave.
- At 10:22 p.m., a Southwick Road resident reported that his house was egged.
Saturday, April 13

- At 6:18 a.m., a Strawberry Lane resident reported that his son had not returned home and had been out all night. Police found that the caller's son was involved in a crash on Route 128.
- At 1:45 p.m., a resident walked into the police station to hand over a BB gun for destruction.
- At 10:25 p.m., a caller reported several teens running through his backyard causing a disturbance. Police spoke to the teens' mother and she agreed to make sure the teens stayed in her own backyard.
Sunday, April 14
- At 12:29 a.m., a Strawberry Lane resident reported mailbox damage.
- At 12:35 a.m., a Darrell Drive resident reported mailbox damage. Several other Darrell Drive residents reported mailbox damage as well.
- At 12:41 a.m., an Arline Drive resident reported mailbox damage. Another resident from Arline Drive also reported mailbox damage.
- At 9:43 a.m., a caller reported that her debit card was used without her permission at Walmart.
- At 11:28 a.m., a Walmart employee requested police assistance with a shoplifter. The situation was resolved by the involved parties.
- At 10:11 p.m., an Elm Street resident reported that someone threw a golf ball at her house.
