Annual Senior Citizens Thanksgiving Dinner to be Held on Sunday, November 23 at Teresa’s Functions & Events
Deadline for reservations is November 18

North Reading Senior Citizens are invited to attend the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Teresa’s Functions & Events located at 20 Elm Street in North Reading on Sunday, November 23 beginning at 1 p.m. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., and dinner service begins at 1 p.m. The event will be held in the beautiful Crystal Ballroom.
The North Reading Thanksgiving Dinner has been an annual tradition for more than 45 years. It is hosted by Representative Brad Jones, his wife Linda Jones and Senator Bruce Tarr in partnership with Kim Manzelli, Senior Center Director, and the Council on Aging. This year’s event will feature a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, dancing and singing.
“My wife, Linda, Senator Tarr and I have been pleased to carry on this special holiday tradition for North Reading’s Senior Citizens for two decades,” said Representative Jones. “We are so proud to be a part of this special day.”

“The Thanksgiving dinner is a wonderful opportunity to get together with neighbors and friends who make North Reading such a strong and close community. I’m honored to keep this tradition going with Representative Jones and Linda,” said Senator Tarr.
The dinner is complimentary to all North Reading residents over the age of 60 due to the generosity of corporate and community benefactors. Reservations are required due to space limitations. Please call the Edith O’Leary Senior Center at 978-664-5600 to make your reservation. The deadline for reservations is Tuesday, November 18.

As we continue to support those in need in our community, we have also partnered with the North Reading Food Pantry. All attendees, who are able, are asked to bring new, non-perishable, non-expired food items for the Pantry. At this time, the most needed items include:
· Hearty soups – Progresso, Chunky, Amy’s, Rao’s
· Cereal – All brands (no Cheerio’s) & children’s cereal welcome
· Razors & Shave Cream – for men & women
· Deodorant – for men & women
