Become a Member of NORCAM and Document Summer Fun

Are you a member of NORCAM? Did you know that you could borrow cameras from NORCAM and utilize the studio equipment if you are a member?

Become a member of NORCAM and gain access to cameras and use of the studio located at 21 Bow St. You can film your own show, edit home videos, borrow cameras and more. The membership fee is only $20 for the year. Seniors and students can join for $10. Want your whole family to join? The first five members are regular price, but then only $5 after that.

NORCAM offers classes, too. You could learn how to make an audio/video podcast, edit video or write a blog. Camcorder and Final Cut Video Editing classes are open to the public. Basic camcorder is held every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Basic Final Cut editing classes are held on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Classes are based on demand, so express your interest by calling or emailing NORCAM.

NORCAM has a video production club that is open to new members. They host a movie night on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. Check their Facebook page for more information.

If you would like to get more involved, NORCAM is looking for a treasurer for their Board of Directors. The applicant should have a financial background and experience working with a non-profit organization. The Board of Directors meet on the last Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Damon Tavern.
