Chuck Hogan Talks The Town and More in North Reading

When I joined the Friends of the Flint Memorial Library, I dreamt of all the amazing events I would plan: Author talks, writers groups, workshops. The library was going to become the coolest little place for writers ever in North Reading and the surrounding area.

Lucky for me, the other Friends and Helena Minton, the library’s director, have let me loose and allowed me the opportunity to plan these events.

The video attached to this post was the first big event that I coordinated and planned: An evening with Chuck Hogan, author of Prince of Thieves, which was later made into the movie The Town, starring Ben Affleck.

And, yeah, that’s me nervously introducing Mr. Hogan himself.
