Ceremony to Honor NRPD Officers After Bombings

The Board of Selectmen will honor the officers who assisted in Boston last week.

The public is invited to a ceremony Monday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at North Reading Town Hall to honor members of the police department who assisted in Boston last week after the marathon bombings. 

"On behalf of the Board of Selectmen, I cordially invite you to attend a ceremony to honor members of the North Reading Police Department who participated in the search for the two marathon bombers and the ultimate capture of the surviving bomber," Selectmen Chairman Sean Delaney said.

Any North Reading resident who contributed at all during or after the marathon will also be recognized. If you know someone who was involved, please email their story to Delaney at sdelaney@northreadingma.gov.
