Farmers Market Begins Third Year on Saturday

North Reading, MA - The North Reading Farmers Market returns for its third season this Saturday.

The farmers market will be holding an indoor market at the North Reading Moose Lodge on Saturday, March 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Moose Lodge is located at 140 North Street.

The farmers market also has indoor markets scheduled for April 2 and May 7 before it makes its way back outside for the rest of the season.

The Farmers Market is run by North Reading's Land Utilization Committee for the benefit of Ipswich River Park and other open space projects in North Reading. Proceeds from the market will be directly put towards maintenance and improvement of the park. Recent improvements include a pavilion and rest rooms. One of the goals for the future is a community center, according to the market's webiste.

North Reading Farmer's Market is now a participant of The Farmers Market Coupon Program with Arrowhead Farm and Farmer Dave’s. Farmers Market coupons are made available to WIC participants as well as eligible seniors.
