Fence at Resorts North Damaged

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Monday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Monday, June 24

  • At 11:59 a.m., the manager from Resorts North reported that someone damaged the pool fence and left clothes and beer cans. They also tossed a lounge chair into the pool.
  • At 1:33 p.m., an employee from Walmart reported that a 16-year-old stole a knife and did not have an I.D. A detective responded and notified the parent of the juvenile.

Tuesday, June 25

  • At 12:32 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. Damage was done to the fence at Boston Flower Market. One car was towed from the scene.
  • At 6:38 p.m., a caller reported a naked man walking around on Cedar Street. Police located the man who said he was walking earlier with shorts on, but no shirt.

Wednesday, June 26

  • At 5:49 a.m., a Fairbanks Lane resident reported that his vehicle was broken into and a pocket knife was missing.
Thursday, June 27
  • At 10:26 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Park Street. No injuries were reported. One car was towed from the scene.
