Final North Reading Farmers Market Is On Today

Last time this summer to grab local fruits and vegetables as well as fresh frozen pasta and fish, savory and sweet goodies.

A release from Cambia Davis of the North Reading Farmers Market:

The weather outlook for this Wednesday's final Farmers Market of the summer looks good so far.

This will be the last market for the summer, so take advantage of the sunny day to stop by the Ipswich River Park to get fresh, local fruits and vegetables as well as fresh frozen pasta and fish, savory and sweet goodies from several bakeries and candy-makers and holiday gifts from the craftspeople who will be selling their handiwork.

Everything Alpaca will bring their pettable alpacas as well as alpaca fleece items such as gloves, mittens, scarves, dryer balls, etc. Yarrow's balloon creations and Jackie's professional face-painting delight kids of all ages. Special children's activities will be the lawn-game, Cornhole and Planting-Seeds-to-take-home at the Kids Activity table.

A special treat this final market is Free Hotdogs. And to top it off, attendees will be entertained by Art Grossman and his friends who will play and sing Folk Songs throughout the 3 1/2 hours from 3:30 to 7 p.m.. The Farmers Market has been a great gift to the community from the hard-working committee members and vendors who show up each week, rain or shine. Let's show them our appreciation by shopping, and stopping by the front booth to say "hello" and taste a sample of food created from products of the market.
