Fire Rips Through Garage Attached To North Reading Home
Firefighters responded to the call reporting the blaze early Saturday morning.
NORTH READING, MA — Firefighters extinguished a two-alarm blaze in North Reading early Saturday morning, according to the North Reading Fire Department.
The call came in reporting a fire at a Canterbury Lane home at 2:40 a.m.
Firefighters responded and discovered a fire in a two-story garage attached to the home.

Firefighters "made an aggressive exterior attack on the fire to knock it down initially, and then attacked the fire from inside the home to get it knocked down by about 3:11 a.m.," according to a statement.
No injuries were reported.

Several other area fire departments provided mutual aid.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
