PORK ROAST DINNER AND SOCK HOP
Where/when: Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Saturday at 6 p.m. 
Why go: Enjoy dinner, a full ice cream sundae bar and a sock hop. Proceeds benefit the music program at Aldersgate.

BLOOD DRIVE
Where/when: North Reading Masonic Lodge, Saturday at 8:30 a.m. 
Why go: Donate blood for the American Red Cross and enjoy a full breakfast.
