Ginger Gourmet is Now Open

Ginger Gourmet, a restaurant featuring Asian cuisine, is now open in the Stop & Shop plaza.

The menu features both Chinese and Japanese food. The chef's specialties consist of coconut jumbo shrimp, crispy orange flavored chicken, crispy sesame beef and more. The eatery also has a sushi bar and full sushi menu. 

According to Manager Mark Zeng, the restaurant is a first class, fine dining Asian restaurant. It features modern decor with an Asian twist. Patrons can dine in, carry out or simply enjoy the full bar and big screen televisions.

The restaurant's liquor license was approved back in September and construction crews worked on the interior for months. Ginger Gourmet opened on May 1.

The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11:15 a.m. to 9:45 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:15 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. The full menu is available on their website.
