Police Say Chaloux Was Wearing Seat Belt in Accident
Tim Chaloux suffered fatal injuries in a one-car accident early Saturday morning.
North Reading resident Tim Chaloux was killed in a one-car accident early Saturday morning; police say he was wearing his seatbelt.
Chaloux, 18, was about to complete his final year of high school at Pingree. He was a varsity baseball and basketball player, according to an article on bostonherald.com.
He was driving in a 2011 Honda Civic on Route 128 south near Exit 23 in Danvers when he veered off the road, into a wooded area. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene, state police said.

According to bostonglobe.com, authorities believe the 18-year-old's car veered off the highway and rolled over around 1 or 1:30 a.m. Saturday. He was discovered later that morning, around 7 a.m., when another motorist called police, according to the Globe.
He was wearing a seatbelt, the Globe said. The accident is still under investigation.
