Lawrence Resident Summonsed on Aggravated Assault and Battery Charges

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Tuesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.
Arrests
At 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, Alexa A. Arrington, 23, of 9 Olean Rd., Burlington was arrested on a warrant on Lowell Road.

At 8:50 a.m. Thursday, an emergency caller reported a domestic assault and battery incident on Washington Street. As a result of the call, Jerry Colon, 34, of 79 Abbott St. Apt. 2, Lawrence was arrested on a warrant and summonsed on charges of violating an abuse prevention order, aggravated assault and battery and threat to commit a crime.

- At 1:10 p.m., a Park Street resident reported that someone broke into his vehicles.
Wednesday, April 3
- At 8:35 a.m., a caller reported a car accident involving multiple vehicles and a school bus on Main Street. The students in the bus were released to their parents. No injuries were reported.
- At 2:42 p.m., the postmaster reported that a male purchased $5,000 in money orders over two days and when asked for identification on the second day, he fled. Police believe he may have been a Wilmington resident and Wilmington police were notified.
- At 5:13 p.m., an employee from Second Chance Consignment walked into the police station to report that a female hired to work at the consignment store left her purse in the bathroom. When the employee looked in the purse to find some identification, she discovered that the female tried to steal some items. The female was notified that her purse was at the police station and was asked not to return to the store.
- At 7:35 p.m., a Childs Road resident walked into the police station to report a problem with her neighbor. Her neighbor threatened her teenage son after he allegedly drove over a speed bump on the street too fast. An officer spoke to the neighbor and told him to report traffic violations to police for them to handle.
- At 8:02 p.m., a caller reported that items were taken from his unlocked car while it was parked on Central Street.
Thursday, April 4
- At 5:55 a.m., a caller reported that her car window was broken the night before. Loose change was taken.
