The School Committee will meet at the middle school at 7 p.m.

The 10th Annual bbq at the senior center will take place Tuesday. WBZ radio personality Mel Simons will present his one man show of the Life and Songs of Al Jolson, Jimmy Durante, Eddie Cantor and George M. Cohan. Call the senior center for reservations or to schedule a ride at 978-664-5600. The donation for this event is $5.
Wednesday, July 31
The North Reading book discussion club will discuss Maine by Courtney Sullivan at the library at 10 a.m. All are welcome.
Thursday, Aug. 1
Dara VanRemoortel will return to the library at 10 a.m. with her keyboard to lead a popular children's sing-a-long.
