More Snow Coming on Tuesday

Snow is expected to start on Tuesday morning.

There is more snow expected on Tuesday, but unlike the major storms over the past three weeks, the snow will be more of a nuisance for most of Eastern and Central Massachusetts.

The National Weather Service is predicting that Cape Cod and the Islands could get as much as 4-6 inches and most of the South Shore could get 3-4 inches. The rest of Eastern and Central Massachusetts is expected to get 1-2 or 2-3 inches of snow on Tuesday (see NWS snowfall map).

The snow is expected to start as flurries during the Tuesday morning commute and become steady through the morning before dissipating on Tuesday afternoon. Light snow could still be falling by the evening commute.
