Wilmington: --Wilmington Police Chief Michael Begonis recounts his experience responding to Boston and Watertown following the bombings at the Boston Marathon. Wilmington Police Lt. Dan Murray, Officer Ronald Alpers and Officer Daniel Cadigan were also  in Watertown as members of the RRT. Patrolman Eric Palmer also assisted with SWAT team response in the city.

Stoneham: New State Medical Marijuana Rules Put in Place--New rules for the medical use of marijuana have been written into the commonwealth's regulatory code by the Massachusetts Public Health Council Wednesday, according to State House News Service report published on LowellSun.com.

Tewksbury: --Tewksbury residents voted 189-39 in favor of funding a $950,000 artificial turf field  Wednesday night at Special Town Meeting, with $600,000 coming in Community Preservation funding. Coupled with with a , $100,000 in construction offsets and $50,000 raised by the Friends of the Tewksbury Athletic Complex, the town will successfully avoid having to dip into the stabilization fund to finance the project.

*Note: The funds listed above total $1 million, with the $50,000 raised by the private group on top of what Town Meeting voted for will cover contingency costs.
